a Taste of Japan

Yoga | Sound Healing | Movement | Meditation | Matcha magic | Forest bathing

Hosts/teachers: Lauri & Roosa

A weekend of movement, mindfulness & stillness. After the heartfelt response to our sold-out Taste of Greece retreats, we’re excited to introduce a new retreat in this wonderful theme: a Taste of Japan.

This one-night retreat is a journey into the Japanese way of harmony and inner balance.

Through yoga sessions, Zen wisdom, seated meditation (“zazen”), movement under therapeutic redlights, deeply relaxing sound bath, forest bathing (“shinrin-yoku”), and nourishing meals inspired by the Japanese kitchen - you'll reconnect with your body and spirit in a meaningful and joyous way.

Whether you're a movement lover, a matcha enthusiast (everyone gets a matcha-making kit to take home with them!), or someone craving a peaceful reset – this is for you. Come to unwind, reconnect and recharge.

We’ve planned of free “Me-time” as well. We have Japan inspired solo-activites for you, such as origami making station, but you can also choose to read in silence, journal with Zen “Koans” (you will get a Koans and notebook to take home), or go outside for a Zen walking meditation (“kinhin” - instructions given by us). One of our activities during the weekend is a matcha workshop and written guide. You’ll receive your own matcha-making kit to take home, honouring the Japanese tea ceremomy (“chanoyu”) tradition that celebrates slowness, ritual, and grace.

We’d love to share all of this with you during this wonderful weekend of Taste of Japan.
